Web projects

I was brought on as the website was newly completed in 2020. I maintained a GitHub repo of Gatsby.js (React) components, AWS lambda middleware, Prismic CMS and became the primary developer for the project. I worked with UX designers to deliver features based on Figma designs, following the SCRUM agile framework and JIRA. I delivered self-serve tools to unblock the team, OneTrust integration, and ran a monthly lunch and learn program. In 2025, I supported the website migration to Webflow while maintaining the existing website. I also shipped a custom Shopify website for homeschooling parents. December 2020 - January 2026

Independent project for Wordpress website (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS) customization and implementation for legal services. SEO tools, plugins and training documentation provided. Completed January 2024.

Sole developer for digital marketing materials. I completed the WordPress build and shipped the website. Financeit.io is a custom WordPress theme based on unique designs. It contained over 150 pages, custom Salesforce integration, Pardot form handlers for drip email campaigns, and enterprise partner landing pages. I created a static microsite for an enterprise partnership, gated content landing pages, research for moving to headless CMS with Gatsby(React.js), contributed to an Ember.js app, and AODA accessibility testing. November 2018 - April 2020.

End-to-end delivery of fully custom WooCommerce shop project with one other developer. Custom WordPress/WooCommerce theme with custom meal packs and meal deals. This website refresh doubled the client's revenue. My role focused mainly on shop functionality and adding custom features in php templates. Deployed from the development environment to a permanent URL with CPanel. Worked on the development server with FileZilla as FTP client, used Trello for project management. Built with PHP (WordPress), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. August - October 2017. Contracted again to implement a rebrand in 2020.

Customized themeforest wordpress theme using CSS3 and HTML5, based on mock-ups. Created content as per the client's specifications. Populated the theme with content and delivered with a quick turnaround. Freelance website project in 2016.

Trend Report is a web application that scrapes trendy blogs and websites and provides articles from different categories, including food and fashion. The purpose of this app is to allow a user to access articles related to a certain category without having to visit each blog or website. What I learned: how to work with a Bootstrap-based theme, the importance of mobile optimizations, and you definitely shouldn't use a hard-coded web-scraper 'cause it won't ever scrape again after deployment (background workers would have been a better choice). This project was built using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery, with Lighthouse Labs classmate as our final project in 2016.
